Mr. Art Flater treats people with disrespect and is very harassing. He makes snark comments towards people of color. His mistreatment of BIPOC individuals should be noted and you should avoid Central Office Systems.

Leasing phones from this company was not the best choice for my business. Over a month I have been dealing with them to fix our phones and they kept pointing to WiFi or internet issues. One of my phones was hardwired and still wouldn’t work, so that would eliminate that as the issue. Excessive phone calls and emails to get them to just come out and fix them. I run two businesses and have a family and all they wanted was to talk to ME on the phone. My time is very valuable and they did not respect that. Only contract with this group of you have time and energy to give to work with them to fix problems with their equipment and if you are willing to learn the ins and outs of phone systems and troubleshooting. My business was significantly affected by their inability to just come during normal business hours to set up and/or fix our phone issues. They aren’t cheap either.

I would not recommend this company for the lease of equipment to anyone. I leased a printer from Central Office Systems for my business, which I recently sold, and when I contracted the sales representative about returning the printer, I was completely misled about the remaining lease. Without going into details, it has taken me several months to figure out exactly what happened without any assistance from Central Office Systems despite my repeated attempts. Instead, they were evasive at best, and have outright refused to engage in a discussion about their role in creating this issue let alone trying to provide a customer-friendly solution. I simply needed information to address to address the issue with the leasing company, and I wasn't even afforded the courtesy of a telephone call let alone an apology for the months and months of time and energy I have spent trying to address the issue. After owning my own business, I know how to treat customers, and this is absolutely the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Avoid the headache and buy your own equipment. It's not worth it.

iNET hadn’t taken printing for office use very seriously in the past. We live in a digital world and most of what we do can be published on a desktop and sent to another. No need to print. About six months ago we just got tired of dealing with break downs and emergency repairs. Our old print system was constantly low on supplies, breaking down and the print quality wasn’t consistently good. Much of our printing is specifically to be handed off directly to customers visiting iNET and so what we do print should look good. When we decided to get serious about printing we called Central Office Systems. One of the owners, Art, interviewed a couple of our people about how we use our print systems and came up with a recommended, “Like New” reconditioned digital document management system. It was a very good deal on a much more expensive machine than we would have wanted to purchase. They not only set us up with a printer far and away better than the last one, it costs less and nobody’s tearing their hair out over printer problems anymore. Art explained the savings of printing black only for internal use and immediately cut our cost of internal printing from about fifteen cents to three cents a page. Scanning and sending documents to client, vendor or even one of our desktops is rock fast. (Used to be a hassle) Best of all we know the price of maintenance and our lease every month forever because unlike other printer and digital document management systems providers Central Office doesn’t increase lease rate every year. Great support team over there too, always positive helpful and friendly. Highest recommendation!
