We camped there for an eagle scout project. They are super accommodating, very educational and Renee is the best! Highly recommend a visit to their educational building and a good hike!

This is a midway point between my home and my moms home. We've met here 2 or 3 times and still haven't seen everything lol. The first time we went for a reptile workshop/ presentation everyone LOVED it (this was before covid19). The trails are very well maintained. Dont skip this nature center if your driving through Waupun it's a lot of fun.
Always a great place to visit! The staff is awesome, friendly and helpful. This place is a must see! You can camp, hike, and tour here. There is a gift shop here with a lot to choose from.
Signs state that visitor center opens 12 - 4 eff June 1st. I was there today to get a national park pass and even tho the gate was open, it was closed. The trails on this side of Hwy 49 are open from noon to 4pm.
Loved visiting here during the bird fest. Had a great program on owls featuring 3 live birds!
