The words thank you don't quite seem adequate for how I feel. The prenatal and birth experience I was able to have under your care was phenomenal! I had a traumatic hospital experience with my 1st baby due to the doctor pushing his agenda on me and doing interventions I didn't want or need. I knew that this pregnancy and birth needed to go differently. That's when I found you and I'm so grateful I did! From day one I knew baby and I were in good hands. I never felt rushed or pressured into any decisions. I always felt heard and had all of my questions (no matter how menial) answered. Time and time again you reassured me that I could do this the way I wanted and that made all the difference in my healing from my previous experience. Even though there were some bumps along the road (the early subchorionic hematoma and then baby's position near the end of the pregnancy), I always felt safe and secure under your care. The actual labor and delivery went so fast compared to what I had expected and prepared for. While I felt a little panicked about how fast it was going, your calm demeanor and presence helped ground me. Getting to give birth in the water at Authentic was a dream come true. I know that there is nowhere else I'd rather have my future babies at than Authentic. I will always speak very highly of Authentic and my experience. It seems bitter sweet that today is my final appointment. I will truly miss seeing you all. I can part ways with a smile rather than tears because I know I'll be back someday.

If you’re looking for a beautiful, quiet and warm environment to birth a baby... Authentic is the place for you! We had a wonderful experience and we would highly recommend this birthing center to anyone. The staff is so kind and knowledge and we absolutely loved our midwife Katy. She was so helpful and encouraging throughout the entire pregnancy and postpartum period. We wouldn’t change anything about our birthing experience. Thank you Authentic staff for caring for us so well, we really appreciate all the work that you do.
My wife is pregnant with twins. I contacted Authentic to see if they could deliver twins, but state law does not allow for it. However, they suggested a doctor who believes strongly in natural birth instead of caesarian for twins, my wife met with him today, and she has now decided to work with him going forward. So grateful for Authentic's guidance!
We loved our experience at Authentic. The center itself is a warm and welcoming environment and the birthing suites have every amenity we could have wanted for our delivery. All of the midwives and students we worked with were friendly, experienced and knowledgeable. We always felt informed about our options for testing, interventions, etc throughout pregnancy and labor and then supported in whatever decision we made. We would not hesitate to recommend this place to family and friends and definitely plan to return for any future babies :)
If ever there were a place to merge the magical with maternal mystery, Authentic Birth Center ranks at the top. Often anticipation gives way to unmet expectations, but our experience with the Authentic family surpassed all prenatal care and birth hopes. Welcoming our son into the world is etched deeply in our hearts. We felt so loved and cared for, balanced by the feeling as if we were the only people in the world that day in peaceful oblivion.
