Beautiful campground. The owner was very accommodating allowing me to arrive late ( I live far out and was trying to squeeze in a trip between work). My sister and I loveded it! We had our choice of campground locations and picked a little spot facing the river and bluff. I also enjoyed the fact that this campground isn’t too big which limits the amount of people that can stay. This ensures you get some nice nature time without loads of people walking around. Thanks for a great stay!

My wife and I rented kayaks on 7/2/18. The facility was easy to find, (print directions as you will probably lose cell service). Ladies at the desk were very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms at the check in building were clean and equipped with a shower. There was even a hose dedicated to cleaning water shoes! The guys will carry your craft to the water, and get you off without problem. They even picked us up at the end of a 15 mile, 5 1/2 hour day; carried our kayaks up a steep, muddy mess of a hill, and drove us back to the check in facility where our car was. Other companies request customers to carry, or help carry their kayak/canoe. This made for some unhappy, crabby paddlers. Overall, our experience was a blast! We'll definitely go back and kayak the short run. Thanks Clements! Y'all ROCK!

I really loved this site. The canoe trip was perfect and well organized. The only downside I had to this campsite were the quality of the restrooms and showers. I know it’s a campsite but the showers didn’t have great water pressure and you had to keep pushing the button to turn on the water. A bit annoying.

Very sad to have to write this review. We have been going to Clements Canoes for the last couple of years as a family outing for tubing. This year was an extreme disappointment. First off the bathrooms were disgusting and the toilets were over flowing. We went to pick up our life vests and they were out of any sizes except small/ medium which would not fit any adult in our group but the worker said that didn't matter since we didn't have to actually wear them. Good thing we know how to swim. Next, we made reservation since they were operating at half capacity, but when we arrived they were down a bus and PACKED the one that they had running even filling the aisle with people standing. I did not think this was in any way social distancing. Once we arrived at the drop off location there wasn't enough tubes or cooler tubes. We waited in the heat for 30 more minutes for someone to bring us some from the office. The real disappointment came at the end of our trip. A disable couple tipped their canoe right before the ramp to get out of the water. There were three workers at the ramp and none of them would go help this couple. My sisters and myself helped the lady and her husband through the rocky water and up the ramp. One worker commented that he didn't feel like getting wet today. The lady was beat up and bleeding from hitting the rocks and was in quite distress. I believe that these boys would have let all of the couple's stuff float off and the lady drown. It was ridiculous. When we spoke with the manager, he told us that the boys get paid to pull out canoes and not to help people. Where is common decency?? Very disappointed in our trip.

The staff was super helpful! Gave tips on dropping our own tubes. The water was a bit too low, it wasn’t an easy tube adventure by any means. Challenging, but, fun!! Wouldn’t recommend for anyone not in tip top shape.
