If I could give this business zero stars I would. It’s January 3, 2021 and I drove all the way from Gaithersburg, MD, which is 20 miles from this place, in the rain. I rescheduled a waxing appointment last month and left remarks that Indicated what I wanted to reschedule my appointment to (from a chin wax to an eyebrow wax). I arrived at 1:04pm for my 1:00pm appointment and had to call the phone number twice (as the sign outside indicates to call first). Upon reaching them I was informed at 1:06pm that my appointment is marked as a no-show and that if I wanted to be seen I’d have to forfeit my deposit and pay the full price of the eyebrow wax fee plus the deposit, instead of the deposit being deducted (for being 4mins late). As a new patron to this business I’m glad that I was shown this type of customer service so that I would not support such a business. After seeing the response from the owner: That is a horrible attempt to justify you all stealing money. I arrived and called just like the instructions on the door said and was on hold for several minutes and was told I’d have to forfeit my deposit. I was in disbelief so I called back and asked if I could then come up and speak to the manager. So don’t try to use a 1:10pm video and say that was the time I arrived. I was hoping to speak to the manager about my appointment but was up there and after seeing the nonchalant “we got your money so oh well” customer service and seeing that the mask was under the owners nose, I left. Nice try though but clearly you all needed the deposit and money more than continued business. The thing to remember is that they were willing to see me BUT they wanted me to forfeit my deposit and pay more money. A money scheme.
Phenomenal and professional customer service! I can always depend on this local business for timely and thorough service. I highly recommend Waxing With Aggy for ALL of your waxing needs.
