This was my first year taking my daughter and she really enjoyed it. Friendliest people, easiest and most convenient way to get trees for all ages. I took my 82 yr old grandmother who used to have her own Christmas tree farm and she spoke highly of the process. There was even really nice trees lower to the parking lot making finding a perfect tree easy for her! Thank you and we will see you next season.

This was our first year getting a “Choose and Cut” Christmas tree and we highly recommend Boyd Mountain Christmas Tree Farm. There were a lot of cars and people there but it was handled so well. There were parking attendants, greeters to explain the process, saws and measuring sticks for people who wanted to do it themselves, employees on the hill with chainsaws to cut down the trees for you if you didn’t want to do it yourself. We chose to use their saw to cut down our tree and as soon as it was down, two employees were at our side to haul it down the mountain for us. While they were bringing the tree down the mountain, we brought the car around. The line to pick up our tree was long but moved quickly. Everyone worked so efficiently. They tied the tree on the car so well we had no trouble driving the 4 hours home.
Today was our first time at Boyd Mountain Christmas Tree Farm. Overall we were happy with the experience. The venue was beautiful and the service was also very helpful. It is obviously a well maintained and clean venue. Only giving 4/5 stars because of the increased price that we expected based off the website. Prices were considerably higher than what is posted online. However we found the extra 20 or so to be worth it for a nice 7ft tree.
The ole saying, \You get what you pay for!\ We love this tree farm! We have been coming here since we moved here 8 years ago. This is the real deal especially if you have little ones. They have the big white tent with hot cocoa, hot spiced cider, cookies, pretzels, ornaments, hats, tee shirts etc. You can have pictures of your kids in a sleigh with Santa! This is truly an all day event...especially when you have little ones. Our kids are 21 but it is still fun going there and watching the wee ones having fun and picking out their tree for their bedroom. We look forward to going to Boyd Mountain like we look forward to golfing! It's a great day! Get out there and have some fun!
Although a beautiful setting for a Christmas tree farm, the cost of these trees simply is not worth it. 140 for a 7-8’ Fraser fir is exorbitant. By the time we walked to the area of land for that size tree, we were too committed to turn around in light of the price. I should have made a phone call or checked the reviews beforehand.
