I made a post about this company around July 4th. At the time I was not happy with the product or customer service. After making the post the owner contacted me. He came to look at my driveway and offered to give my money back or fix the driveway. I asked him to fix it which he did on July 16th. I'm happier with the results of my driveway now. Was happy we could work something out. There was tension at first but he made good on his word.

I was so disappointed in the rock/grading contractors that failed to show up for appointments, failed to return phone calls, and left you hanging on their quotes and scope of work. Not these people at Caldwell Rock Yard! They re-done our 500 ft plus steep gravel driveway and done everything as promised. We are totally pleased with the services they provided to us.

BEWARE: after August, they sell unseasoned firewood and still call it "firewood." It is in no way ready to burn. The owner told us it would be ready "in a few months" in ideal conditions, but it's very clear that it will not be ready until at least next season. For over 200, I expected real ready-to-burn firewood, not unseasoned. Very disappointing.

Great service. Called around and they were the 3rd one I called. The first gave me the runaround for a week, including saying they would deliver twice and never showing up. The second took my order and went through everything just to end up telling me they would not be delivering seasoned firewood, though I told them I needed it to burn in my fireplace immediately. Called Caldwell after hours. Got a call back the next morning. Set up a date to have a delivery and they called that morning and were here minutes later. Called again to order more recently and they were ready to deliver the next day! Pricing is comparable to the others but customer service is above and beyond!

Super nice. Trustworthy. They show up. Really reasonable rates for firewood. Delivery right when they say it will be delivered -I mean exactly on time for the time they say it will be delivered! They call to let you know it’s coming. I use them any time I need firewood.
