This place is great! We usually drive through every year and pick up a tree from here cause the quality seems to be the best. All the trees are in immaculate shape, full and extremely well grown. The owner and his family is just unbelievable and takes great pride with the entire farm. Trees from all shapes and sizes I’ve seen at this place over the years and I would highly recommend for anyone looking for that perfect holiday tree.

After a long, pandemic year our family was excited to return to Smoky Mountain Christmas Tree Farm to pick out our perfect holiday tree. Robbie, Jolie and the staff are always welcoming and kind. It feels as if we arrive to their home and they share a tree with our family. This year we especially appreciate the extra efforts and provisions made to make our visit COVID safe with 6ft distancing and mask protection. Thank you Smoky Mountain Christmas Tree Farm for being a special family tradition and experience.
I want to personally thank everyone who has come out this year to support my fathers Christmas tree farm. Many of you know, for the ones who do not... My dad underwent a double lung transplant this April of 2020. As well as a heart bypass. He is doing very well and also taking part in the selling of trees this year. This year has been crazy for many and even crazier for our family. We cannot thank our great customers enough for continuing to come back and share their holiday traditions with us. We have also met so many new faces and families that have been a pleasure to get to know and we hope to see you again! We have asked (required) people to wear masks this year, as there is a national pandemic among us still . We have had some trouble getting a handful of people to respect this request. Unfortunately those people have been asked to leave, not to be disrespectful or difficult. But at this time my fathers health is a priority. PERIOD. My daughter (the owners granddaughter) is also a type one diabetic. We are only trying to prevent future complications for our family as we have gone through a lot and worked very hard to get through this chapter. We hope that everyone understands why we have enforced an already (direct order by the Christmas tree association of North Carolina). We hope that next year will return to some normalcy. I think we all do!! We miss seeing the kids faces light up when they choose and cut that perfect Christmas tree We THANK ALL OF YOU! We appreciate you! Very friendly service and extremely helpful. Yes trees are pricey but they explained the difference between fresh cut tree prices and why they are so cheap at the store. Definitely worth the money because the tree looked fresh on Christmas Day.
I found Robbie through the NC Growers Christmas tree website. What a fabulous experience! I love a small farmer with a passion for what they do. Yes, he's surrounded by Boyd's and other larger farmers, and yes, you could probably find a tree you like at Boyd's or others, but I love supporting tiny businesses that help locally! His barn is AWESOME, such a great photographic setting! I highly recommend going there, as he took the time to answer my questions on the phone patiently and walked us through everything he has grown, with a story behind almost each tree. I was originally looking for a Blue Spruce and few growers have them, but my son found this gorgeous Nordmann Fir and we fell in love. If you'll take the time to actually interact with a local grower, you too will find someone you trust and want to support.This will be a Christmas tradition for us going forward!
