I would rate 5 stars and always would have, but the lack of masks being worn by employees is a big turn off during the pandemic. Otherwise, as always, they are knowledgeable and quick to offer help. Some things can only be found here as they have excellent selection of niche necessities and, they are local!

very helpful staff. had portable or space heaters when no one else in the area had any. were a lot of people waiting in line to get ice melt, they were very efficent in getting people served in a timely fashion. clean store and easy to find things.
After 2 1/2 hours of searching around Joplin for a snow shovel Henkel's had them! 4 to choose from ranging from 9.99 to 30.99 in price! Much lower price than I would have anticipated from an Ace Hardware. I found out since that they are not big huge corporation. (and I'm always for supporting the little guy when I can!) Always treated very well when I come in here and so is my Rat Terrier Bitzy when I bring her along. They're pet friendly so you can bring your fur children with you. When you've struck out everywhere else, try Henkel's. Better yet, save yourself the trouble and come here first. I am in the future!
I prefer Ace over Home Depot or Lowes simply because of the old school mom and pop feel. The staff at this location is very warm, friendly, welcoming and helpful. It was my first time at this location and it felt so good inside I didn't want to leave. It felt like home.
I LOVE this store!!! The employees are priceless, so kind and helpful. It's a very clean store, with not only your hardware needs, but so many fun, interesting items for sale. One trip to Henkles couldn't possibly be enough! Im gonna need a several trips and a few hours each trip to fulfill my need to see... EVERYTHING!
