I went to their summer camp this year. The staff there was young, incompetent, unfriendly, uninterested, and inattentive. When I got there, no one made me feel welcome. Instead of riding a horse, we dragged around some goats through the woods. I was asked what I knew about riding, and told them I know nothing. The horse that I was assigned to ride was a new horse at the stable, and jumpy. By the time it was time to ride, it was about 90 degrees outside real feel. Once I was on the horse, I was feeling nauseous, and dizzy. the person leading the horse didn't even notice. I had to tell the leader that I had to get off. By that point, I was so heat-stricken that my vision was blurry, and i felt like i was going to pass out. I was taken off the horse, put in front of a fan, and given a popsicle, which is not the correct procedure for heatstroke. All with only one staff member, which everyone knows is a no-no. After the horses were taken care of, it was time for arts and crafts, or something. All of the staff were sitting around a table, talking. They were not paying attention to the kids. One of the kids shouted the S-word, in front of little kids, and the staff did nothing. That was only the first day, since I never went back. Janice was nowhere to be found during the whole ordeal. She couldn't even answer her phone, so my parents could get a refund. Some grumpy dude named Steve picked up. After a conversation that was way too long, without an apology that I almost fell off a horse, he refunded the money. I would tell people considering riding lessons here, don't bother. There are so many better, more professional stables.
