Absolutely perfect!! My Granddaughter had a wonderful time at the \barn buddies\ one on one program and looks forward to more exciting experiences at this beautiful farm!! It brought me back to the good old days of my youth! I am extremely grateful that she has this opportunity because there is nothing more natural or beautiful than experiencing life on the farm!!

This was my granddaughter's first exposure to horses and her first pony ride. She is just a toddler and our instructor - Jess M. was fantastic with her. The pony was sweet and my granddaughter had a wonderful first experience. Jess was also very accommodating to my family's schedule. We would definitely go back. Thanks!

I went to their summer camp this year. The staff there was young, incompetent, unfriendly, uninterested, and inattentive. When I got there, no one made me feel welcome. Instead of riding a horse, we dragged around some goats through the woods. I was asked what I knew about riding, and told them I know nothing. The horse that I was assigned to ride was a new horse at the stable, and jumpy. By the time it was time to ride, it was about 90 degrees outside real feel. Once I was on the horse, I was feeling nauseous, and dizzy. the person leading the horse didn't even notice. I had to tell the leader that I had to get off. By that point, I was so heat-stricken that my vision was blurry, and i felt like i was going to pass out. I was taken off the horse, put in front of a fan, and given a popsicle, which is not the correct procedure for heatstroke. All with only one staff member, which everyone knows is a no-no. After the horses were taken care of, it was time for arts and crafts, or something. All of the staff were sitting around a table, talking. They were not paying attention to the kids. One of the kids shouted the S-word, in front of little kids, and the staff did nothing. That was only the first day, since I never went back. Janice was nowhere to be found during the whole ordeal. She couldn't even answer her phone, so my parents could get a refund. Some grumpy dude named Steve picked up. After a conversation that was way too long, without an apology that I almost fell off a horse, he refunded the money. I would tell people considering riding lessons here, don't bother. There are so many better, more professional stables. 21st Century Sloth

My 3 yr old rode a miniature horse named Rocky who was very calm. Paid 30 for about 15min of riding and 15min of grooming- which my toddler lost interest within 5min. Lol She was able to give the horse some treats out of a bucket which was probably her highlight (and sneaking in hugs). Oh and chasing chickens was her #2 highlight. The ride was good but the instructor, young lady, was boring and seemed like she didn’t want to be there - that’s why the 3 stars. I had to strike up the convo most of the time and she barely cracked a smile. Not a great experience when it comes to interacting with new customers. Not sure if I’ll come back because of that.
