Great place to workout. They have 2-3 people walking around always cleaning the used machines. Reading the reviews I have to say that they wipe down the mats after every use. You must wear a mask unless you are doing cardio. If you want to wear you can. There are bottles of cleaner and paper towels thru out the gym. Gym has full equipment. Every bike and treadmill has cable and screens with aps. No join fee and 55 a month is a steal when you compare it to other places. Saturday is half day so it gets busy and most machines are full.

I love the Weekly YMCA and the employee team from manager Paige on down. My son and I worked out there 4 - 6 times a week when they reopened and felt safe and secure. Then about 3 weeks ago the Y changed policies and no longer required wearing masks to use the exercise facilities. I spoke with Paige and told her that I am 77 and I cannot afford to be exposed to covid and in fact have lost a friend recently to the virus. I questioned the wisdom of the change which flies in the face of logic but then suggested a simple solution to the problem. Have designated times where masks are not required so that those who do not want to wear masks have a time to utilize the Y. That also allows those who do want to wear masks to continue to utilize the Y. I know I am not the only person who feels this way and if others let their opinions be known maybe they will filter up to the decision makers. It is a cost free way to attract members to utilize their facilities rather than forcing anyone to quit the Y.
This facility is very lax with their own self proclaimed Covid measures. Things I observed on multiple occurrences over the first week: No temperature check upon entering the building Fans on high, heavy circulation of air. Mats too close together, and despite red/green tags were not being cleaned by either the member-users or the staff that would stand around d watching. Staff refused to ask members to clean mats, or even turn over red/green sticker . . . Aerobic machines lined up in front of each other in rows (not staggered). Many other problems but ran out of space to write here. Machines with red dots not being wiped down as most employees who are supposed to be wiping down stand around. Machines with ref dots stayed uncleaned for most of 1 hour observed
LOVE this place. This is the first time I’ve ever joined the YMCA and I am beyond impressed with this facility. I enjoy the variety of classes and wide range of times in which they’re offered, especially since they are included in the cost of membership. The weightlifting Facilities and cardio machines are plentiful and well-maintained. This is a very high-quality facility and I highly recommend. The value for this membership outweighs the value for any other gym membership out there.
Epic place to exercise and relax during the summer
They don't enforce the mask requirement. The front desk staff doesn't wear masks half the time. People who aren't actively working out don't wear masks and the employees ignore it. I tried to bring it up to the front desk, while someone didn't have a mask, and they just didn't care.
DO NOT JOIN THEIR MEMBERSHIP!!! They do illegal things. I canceled my membership months ago and changed my card and they still managed to take my money from my new card and won’t get it back. And they lied saying that I I once again open up my membership. If you don’t want your money to be stolen don’t go here.
I’ve been aware of it being there for years, not involved until now. It’s wonderfully down-to-earth, everyone is there for a couple of reasons: to work out, and socialize a bit where suitable and convenient. No pretense or grandstanding on anyone’s part, no body-shaming, age-shaming, or slight of any kind. Facilities are more than satisfactory, staff are friendly and helpful. It seems well-organized to make it all about what you’re there for. Completely burden-free. And there WILL be a few things you enjoy!!
