Dr. Welch is great! He delivered our daughter a few months ago and we couldn't be happier. He was attentive throughout the pregnancy and answered any questions I had. The only time I had to wait to be seen longer then normal was when he had an emergency which is totally understandable. During the delivery he was great and very informative when we needed to move quickly for a c section. My recovery was quick with no complications.

Best Ob I've ever had! He takes all my concerns seriously, very friendly and humorous. I'm so grateful I live so close to his office. Also I can call and leave a message with any concerns I have and I receive a call back very quickly, if I don't answer they leave a voicemail answering my questions.

I have been with Dr Welch for more than 7 years and and have had an awesome experience with the delivery of both my children. Thanks to his thorough and detail to attention realized my daughter needed to be delivered early. I highly recommend him to anyone who is not having any luck with other gyns. His staff is great and friendly too and the atmosphere in his clinic is very welcoming. Great bedside manners and does not sugar coat which leaves you with clarity and not assumptions.

Dr. Welch and his staff are amazing. He is a friendly, witty and humorous (which my husband appreciated). His staff is very kind. And they always have yummy smelling soap in the bathroom. I started going to him when I was pregnant with my daughter. His number one goal is to make sure your baby comes out as safe and healthy as possible and he did amazing. He was keen and alert the entire pregnancy. My measurements were off at the end and he was alert to that and did all he could to figure out what was going on. He didn't hesitate and because of that, I honestly feel he saved my daughters life. I continue to go to him for the gyn side of things and if we live here the next time we are pregnant, he will be delivering my next baby.

I absolutely love Dr. Welch! I came to his practice during one of the worst times of my life. I was 8 weeks pregnant and my fiance had just passed away. They took such good care of me and even after moving 45 min away, I still made the drive because no one else can top this practice.

There aren't enough words to describe how much I adore Dr.Welch and his staff! He has delivered my last 2 babies and I couldn't be happier. His priority is always to make sure mom and baby are healthy. He is a straight shooter, but he is always willing to address questions and concerns. I love that he is in a practice on his own, because I know the care I am going to receive and I know it's going to be him delivering my baby. Sometimes that means longer wait times because he has to go deliver a baby or handle an issue, but I know that when it's time for my baby that he'll be there. I wouldn't recommend anyone else.

I absolutely love Dr. Welch! Aside from being very knowledgeable and one of the best in the area, he's also straightforward and honest, which I really appreciate. I switched over to Dr. Welch when I was 5 months pregnant because I wasn't getting what I felt to be a personalized experience at TP4W and I couldn't have been happier. All of the staff are super friendly - I highly recommend Welch OB/GYN!

If I could give negative stars, I would. This is the first negative review I've ever written in my life. His equipment was outdated (the ultrasound was of very poor quality) and he "blew off" my concerns. I've been a Duke nurse for 10 years and know my body and when something isn't right. I switched back to my old OB (I only switched because we were moving) and I found out I had lost the baby. I'm grateful to have received the news from providers who were professional and compassionate. Look on other review websites (besides google) and you'll find others find his services are poor as well.
