One of favorite parks to visit and camp in the fall. The kids love the trick or treating and the stories around the campfire. We've been lucky enough to doing it for years now. The trees and trails are wonderful.

Beautiful park with wooded areas and trails to hike. Disc golf course and lake for kayaking and canoeing as well. Very well maintained campgrounds.

Beautifully kept campground! The fire rings have a small grill that swings over the fire for very easy fire cooking. Great area for fishing and kayaking. They have ice for sale at the entrance which was very convenient. The showers were so well kept, I was so impressed with how clean and well maintained the entire park is. My only complaint is the raccoons. Holy smokes, they come out as soon as the sun sets and do not have any regard for people being out. I had one right under my chair one night, it was wild! We stacked our food coolers and put firewood on top of them every single night and stored all of our food in bins and kept it in our tent to try to keep them out of our stuff. Those measures worked. One day our beverage cooler (with a latch!) was found opened, presumably by a raccoon so they’re good at getting into things. Despite that, we would definitely still go back, you just have to know that you’ll need a flashlight on hand if you plan on staying out past dark to try to deter them away.

Great experience! We slept one night in a tent and one night in the cabin and wow was it fun. We got fire wood right out side the park for 20 and it lasted us two nights. We went fishing the next morning and had a blast. We rented a kayak next to the beach for 10 an hour and went all over the lake. The beach was fun and we were able to spend a couple hours playing in the water. The park was in nice shape and the shower house was clean and easy to use. The entire park was in good order and we plan on going back soon!

It's an excellent place to go hiking especially on the trails around the lake. It's not too bad for a park in Ohio.
