These guys are good. I had to be in chicago by 11am today. Got here by 7 they took me right in and got it basically done by 8 with the lights on the back of the truck running. The back is a custom job so a little different. And the guy that worked on it is?a?man named star or start.

This place is a rip off. They charge like 220 an hour for labor. My Isuzu box truck was stolen then recovered by MPD. The truck was towed from the Milwaukee tow lot to badger Isuzu. To remove the broken key in the ignition and the truck not starting they billed me a little under 2k. Out of that it was roughly 100 in parts and the rest of the “time” was spent on “diagnostics”. Pretty much a green light to bend you over and screw you with a hefty bill. They said it was a corroded fuel line. They even went on to spend labor hours on the batteries and said the batteries tested fine. When I went to pick up the truck it was dead and they gave me a jump. The next day the truck wasn’t starting again and I had to get it towed once again to another shop. The other shop replaced both batteries and now the truck runs fine. This nonsense with badger Isuzu costed me 2k and still the truck had an issue which costed another 1k in towing and new batteries. I have repeatedly called and left messages with Doug but he will not call back. Filling a small claims against these thieves!

2600 spent and the problem is still not resolved. Visit #1: My truck was having issues with starting so I took it to Badger Truck Center on October 19th and it was at this time that the mechanic did some general small repair and installed miscellaneous small parts. Truck started working again at this point and I was charged 496. Visit #2: I had the same problem with my truck not starting up again and returned to the mechanic on December 7th. They replaced the fuel filter and a few other small parts (2 hoses, a clamp). Truck started up but the problem resurfaced later that week. I was charged 824. Visit #3: Returned on January 4th. I was told the fuel lines were rotted and leaking in the frame. The sender and fuel lines had to be replaced. Charged for general repair, sending unit, straps, and some smaller items. At this point, on my third visit, I asked to see the fuel lines they had supposedly replaced, and they refused. I looked myself and it was apparent they were not replaced. At this point the mechanic backtracked and said they replaced only a part of the fuel line, while initially they said they replaced it in its entirety. I was charged 1308. Three visits later and my truck still does not start. This business is incompetent at diagnosing the problem and they seem to rely entirely on trial and error when approaching truck issues. I’m out 2600 and my truck still doesn’t work. The costs are outrageous considering I’m paying for guesswork and not an actual diagnostic/fix to my truck. I cannot recommend this business and would advise anyone with truck problems to stay away as truck diagnostics are clearly not this business’s area of expertise.

They worked with me to get my truck in early, before my scheduled drop off, and got it done ahead of schedule so I could take it to an appointment that got switched. Customer service was a little lacking twice they said they would call when it was done and never got a call, and I spent about 10 minutes waiting in the service area before any employee showed up to take care of myself and another customer. They got what I needed done on time and were able to accommodate the schedule change so I'm happy.

As a production manager for a growing company Badger has crippled our ability to use our truck for the past 4 days! We called to schedule an oil change, front end alignment, and have the front tire replaced. We were told it would be done at the end of the day we brought it in. I called that night to see if we could pick it up and was told that the oil change was done but that was it, they then told me I could pick it up and reschedule the tires and alignment if we needed it that night. I told them that if they could get it taken care of the next day that would be fine. We then called everyday being told they would call us back. At no point did we. On the 4th day they told us they finally put the tires on but no alignment. We told them we'd pick the vehicle up. They told us to wait up front while they pulled it up an hour later they pulled it up. I would not recommend them to anyone as they were dishonest and at no point was there proper communication.
