I daven here whenever I visit West Hempstead. Nice big shul with plenty of security. They once provided me with a lulav and esrog when I forgot to bring mine from home.

These people have been calling me for years from multiple different numbers and I've called them each time telling them to stop. The robot you get on the phone doesn't seem to get the message tho so I ask to get transferred to a real person and even then they still don't stop calling after I kindly ask them to, speaking with a real person over the phone. To finally put an end to it, I blocked them. They changed their number so I blocked it again...I thought that was the end of it but nope they changed it again and now make calls from NJ. This was the last straw, DO NOT sign up for this organization, I guarantee you there are better synagogues all over the island where you will be more welcome. A lot of deaths happen here too which is why they're always calling so it's most likely bad luck if you sign up. If you value your life, don't go to Young Israel of West Hempstead synagogue. If you do, chances are you'll be a statistic one day and they will be spamming innocent people like me about your death. For more prosperity, look elsewhere. Additionally, if you're looking for a good mainly Jewish country club I recommend Engineers, Glen Oaks, or Fresh Meadow. All have great estates and you will feel more welcome there than you will at the Young Israel synagogue. And if you sign up there, you will be able to make friends with people who know of much better synagogues. If they tell you they go to Young Israel though, watch out because their time is ticking. Anyways, in summary, DO NOT GO TO YOUNG ISRAEL OF WEST HEMPSTEAD.
