100/10 would absolutely & will absolutely be booking with Cobalt Boat Rental again. First of all I'd like to say we had so much fun on our Saturday afternoon trip that we decided to make a last minute booking at 1AM for the next day, Sunday afternoon as well. We had a different captain each day and they were both incredibly professional, friendly, knowledgeable, funny, and honestly it felt like we just had another friend on the boat with us who just happened to be a Lake Travis boat expert. Like another reviewer said, they somehow knew perfectly when to fade into the background & let us make our own experience. Also, I noticed when we would anchor and all hop into the water for 30 minutes, our captain would put our towels in the sun to dry off... what the heck, talk about good hospitality!! (They also had coolers & ice available for us) On top of having the most laid back captains, both of the boats were seriously immaculate. We lucked out & on Sunday we were able to book their newest boat and wowwwwwwwwwweeeee you just gotta see for yourself how perfect it is. Both of our captains, David & John, really know their stuff & will make sure anyone has a blast out on the water. Protip: sit in the front of the boat for the best views & ultimate relaxation

Had a really great family day on the Cobalt boat rental w Captain John. You see, there is no such thing as a great vacation without a boat ride. You can quote me. Also, the perfect boat ownership is renting. Having a captain and no worries is the way to go. This was a perfect bookend to the Labor Day weekend. Our 11 year old daughter enjoyed the tube and the lily pad immensely. The boat was smooth, the lake wasn’t too trafficked and both the water and outside temperature was perfect. Thanks Cobalt Boat Rentals on Lake Austin for a fabulous morning, we recommend this company and we will be repeat clients.
Such a great experience with Captain David on Lake Austin with my girls! So much so, we've booked numerous times this summer. Couldn't recommend Cobalt Boat Rental more!
We went this past Saturday and had so much fun that we rebooked and went back out again on Sunday at the last minute. One day was with David and the next was with John. Both are great captains and tour guides. The boats are in fantastic shape and everything you'd need for a great day out on Lake Austin (which I prefer over Lake Travis). I'd recommend the guys to locals and visitors alike! Can't wait to come back soon.
Such a great experience!! My flight had just landed here in Austin and my friends took me right to Lake Austin for a ride with Cobalt. Such a great way to kick off my visit! The boat was beautiful and immaculately clean. Captain John made us feel so welcome and had an AWESOME playlist curated for the trip. 10 out of 10 would recommend!
We have been boaters for over 30 years! Now that we have sold our boat, we are so happy to have found Cobalt Boat Rental! Captain John keeps his boat meticulous (just like my husband did!), he is so professional. We had a lovely day, can't wait to have friends and family visit so we can share this Lake Austin experience with them.

Have have rented thru the Cobalt Boat Rental a couple of times already this summer. They are great. The captains are child and adult-friendly. They are very safety conscious, but they also make sure the children are having fun and the adults are relaxing and enjoying the experience also. The boats are in excellent shape. I would highly recommend this company and team. Excellent day on the lake is assured.
