Had lots of cool marine stuff but not what I needed. One of the staff seemed overwhelmed with 2 customers in the store until the manager came to the rescue.

Though the employees were great, I've never been a fan of West Marine. Over-priced cheaply constructed goods. I visited out of necessity because I couldn't go to the lake without a life preserver. They didn't have any recreational ones left, only oversized commercial ones for an absurd price considering the cost of materials.

This place seem very disorganized. I looked them up on line. It stated they were open 10-6 everyday. I went on a Monday. The door states they are closed Sunday and Monday. I went on a Tuesday and the staff acted if providing customer service would be a hardship and he would have to move from his spot at the counter. I'll never shop West Marine again.

West Marine had the exact battery lugs I was looking for when the auto parts store next door didn't have them. Curt is a friendly guy. If I shop there more often we'll be on a first name basis.
