My boy Jonathan came in here to get a full and affordable fishing set up for the pier during his livestream. Daniel took care of him and provided excellent customer service. Best I've ever seen. Give that guy a raise!

I had a wonderful experience at West Marine’s Tequesta location! It was my first time in the store and if you’ve ever been there before you know it can be pretty overwhelming. I also had my three-year-old daughter with an attention span of about 15 minutes. That said I wasn’t able to find an item. Not a big deal. However one of the sale associate JC went above and beyond to help me . He wasn’t able to find the item in the store but took my name and number told me he would follow up and that he did. I was so pleasantly surprise with the phone call. It might sounds silly but having excellent customer service should not go unnoticed. Thank you, JC
Always a pleasure to shop here. I don't care about price. I care about friendly workers and great customer service which I always get.
If you'd like service do not visit. I've been three times. Once I was there for about 10 minutes looking for a hat and not a single person spoke to me. Once I went looking for a marine battery, the kid near the door asked if he could help. I said "I'm looking for a type of marine battery, but I need help" and he said, and only said "they are in aisle 5". Last time I went in still looking for the battery I had to ask the cashier for help, she said she would send someone to the battery aisle. I waited exactly 10 minutes , then left, without anyone else, including the original cashier whom I approached, speaking to me. WOULD GIVE LESS THAN ONE STAR IF U COULD. Look at my reviews, I almost NEVER give negative reviews. I'd prefer to not say anything but a place like this that charges PREMIUM prices should at least give average service.
Friendly service and great selection
Love West Marine they have all my boating needs. Stopped in last weekend, I guess when the brewery next door was having an event and the young man Thomas at the front was very accommodating and helpful to me and found what I was looking for. Nice to see our youth working retail and having manners to customers when they walk in the store.
West Marine is always great to go in and come back out of just love looking at stuff this time I did not purchase anything I usually purchase my shorts there
I called to verify they had the anchor chain I was looking for, I went there and surprise it wasnt. I love my Westmarine and the people but please, its basic inventory management to check quick.
