I've been using this store for 25 years and West for over 30. They have eaten up all the competitors however they are the fairest even though they own the market. I appreciate all the help they have provided over that time.

This West Marine is convieniently close, but I find the selections limited for small or medium men's clothing and gear; maybe because there are so many asian men in the San Gabriel Valley! Anyway, compared to Huntington Beach, this location can't compare. The tent sales are smaller and selections limited. I do have to say though that the staff are very pleasant and are willing to do what it takes to make things right.

I have a love/hate relationship with West Marine. Everything costs a small fortune. But on the flip side, they have everything. Honestly most items can be found cheaper online but if you're in a pitch, this place will have what you need to get back out on the water.

Why would a West Marin ( Marina del Rey) store make there problems my problem? Having been there several times over several weeks now and trying to pay with CASH i have been told they are not accepting "CASH" A legal form of currency in America last time i checked. There reasoning: Our Bank has been closed since covid and we are looking for a new bank..... Well last time i checked and this is October now, banks are open and if there's isn't many other are.... how long does it take. So for there convenience they stopped taking CASH, a legal form of currency HELLO STOP MAKING YOUR PROBLEMS THE CUSTOMERS PROBLEM and start accepting legal currency!
