Wheelchair-accessible car park
Great trail, starting across the street from Panchos and leading to Big River crossing. To me it feels safe for both biking and running. Be sure to wear reflective gear in the evenings or at night. My only complaint is that the parking lot is tiny and there’s nothing around. So if something goes down you’re on your own.

The posted trail regulations are confusing. Administration of the trail is in doubt. The Levee Administration claims the trail is CLOSED without explanation. Posted regulations require registration with the Levee office without any contact information. No one answers the phone at the Levee office on the weekends and holidays. There are no published distance markers between access points. Access to the trail at public road crossings is not marked in most cases. You could get your car towed if it is parked in the wrong spot. The website gives no detail or status information. Otherwise it could be a great scenic trail, particularly in flood when lots of critters head for higher ground.
