This is one of the best indoor Spinning Wild Mouse coasters I've ever been on. Yes, this is a Spinning Wild Mouse. I guess because I've been on Crazy Mouse at Del Grosso's so many times that I was able to pick up on the movements and drops in the dark that plus it's the same car design as Crazy Mouse's. This is heavily themed from the indoor part of the queue line all the way to the ride itself, this is the only ride at Kennywood that is heavily themed. This is a great coaster for the whole family. The only cons are that due to it's popularity it can take forever to be able to ride and the TV and monitors that are supposed to be on and light up in the queue line are off all the time. The first time I rode Exterminator the lights on the monitors and TV's were on and running a preshow. Despite that I highly recommend this coaster when you go to Kennywood.

The Exterminator used to be my favorite ride at Kennywood. It has fallen into disrepair, which is a shame. The theming is GONE. The concrete bunker that the line runs through used to build suspense - with a news 'broadcast' running which told you what was going on - that giant rats had invaded the tunnels under Pittsburgh. The electrical panels had blinking lights, there was a scary furnace in the corner, and even a siren that would go off when parents hoisted their children up to press the button. NOT ANYMORE! It's all turned off and inoperable. The in-ride experience has also failed - none of the costumed dummies shoot their jets of air at you, and most of the lights inside are burned out. Total bummer. Kennywood - PLEASE refurbish this ride. Please!
my favorite roller coaster in the park hands down the indoor theming is outstanding
This is fun and it has good theming, but its theming doesn't appear to be as good as it used to be. I first rode it in 2019, so I don't know what the old theming was like to experience, but I have heard about the better theming it used to have. It is fun, but its low capacity always insures a long line. The shortest I time I've ever waited was probably 30 minutes.
We had a company picnic at Kennywood and it was a great day at the park with my toddler and family. It started to rain so we went to the exterminator because it's indoors. It's always very fun. The sun came out by the time we were done and we had a blast the rest of the day. Kennywood is a great family park. Very fun day!
