Small 40 acre campsite. Well maintained. Pond full of fish. Access to the Colorado river. Highly recommend life jackets for those with younger children as the current can be rather strong in areas here. Campsite 2 and 4 are by far the best sites. Both hacking shade. Plenty of wildlife to see. Cranes, snakes, cardinals, deer and coyotes. It seems to be a local hangout in the afternoon but didnt get crowded when we went. We were the only people camping overnight. Be aware that the bathrooms are locked due to current Covid-19 restrictions. There is a porta potty at the park entrance that was exchanged during our stay. Campsite hosts are extremely friendly and do a good job watching the property.

Been coming to this spot since i was a kid. Had my moms memorial service here as well. This is a very special place for me and my family. Always clean, monitored and best spot to enter the river as far as swimming goes I think.
