West Suburban Special Recreation Association (WSSRA) is mainly for very low functioning children and teens with disabilities, usually 21 and younger. The extreme vast majority of their programs are for 21 and younger only and their programs for adults are extremely sparse, so persons 22 and older are rather unlikely to find anything that fits them. Higher functioning persons with disabilities often find the environment very restrictive and confining, often with prison-like rules and restrictions, as once again, WSSRA caters almost exclusively to low functioning teens and children, often with severe disabilities; a person who may have, for example, Cerebral Palsy, Down's syndrome, or extreme low-functioning autism may find that WSSRA fits them excellently while someone with, for example, Asperger's syndrome may not find WSSRA suitable for them.
