This place is quite new at this location. The ambiance is quite good, more like casual cafe style. Food on the other hand was just average. We went there for lunch buffet. They need to step up their game if they want to compete with other Indian restaurants near by.
When the cats are on the prowl for Indian food, nothing says give me that royal spice like hitting up the crown. We're not looking for dazzling jewels on this crown. But we found the good food that might take a some time to make, but your pallette will be satiated with superb spices and closest thing to authentic I've ever had. So, don't rush it. Eat like royalty at the crown.
Nice Indian cuisine addition to West Windsor! Dinner is casual but sit down style, with comfortable booths. Tandoori mixed appetizer was good and plentiful. Lamb korma was flavorful with a thick sauce. Biryani with shrimp was good but could have used a bit more added ingredients. Service was friendly and attentive.

I love it here. I work across the street and stop by Crown of India for lunch because I am addicted to their Chicken 65. Everything that I have had from there is great, and the staff is just lovely. They are so polite and kind and make stopping by there a pleasure. I will be back again and again.
Had a wonderful dinner here this evening. I had coconut soup which was sweet and really delicious with lots of coconut. Our dinner was superb with fresh naan, and a variety of curry dishes. Staff was EXCEPTIONAL. They were very attentive, answered our questions and were so pleasant. They even brought us some samples of the homemade ice cream to try. We liked it so much we ordered some more. It has a unique texture and an incredibly fresh, rich flavor.. Restaurant has a nice modern decor and is super clean and feels brand new. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend them!
We have been eating there since they opened and the food was always fresh, hot and juicy. We are very pleased that management remains attentive to diner expectations. As a restaurant matures it goes one of two ways. Either it continues with good quality food and attention to preparation or it starts to cut back on quality in an effort to remain in business. As a diner I am most demanding as there is no shortage of restaurant offerings. This Cafe will remain one of our defaults for a casual evening dinner. And it you prefer a lunch or special occasion their buffet should be tried.
