Large forest preserve that is home to a stretch of the salt creek trail, which is paved and great for walking or biking, as well as a network of footpaths that can get a little muddy depending on the weather. The red and yellow trails cross Wolf Road, which can be a little busy with traffic.

Bemis Woods (South and North) has paths and trails for taking walks and biking. I park at South Bemis Woods along Ogden, just west of Wolf Road. Paths heading east from the parking lot are well-kept. Dirt paths head north and link the North Bemis Woods. For those interested, Go Ape, a ziplining and treetop adventure facility, is available at the South Bemis Woods. In the past, I have used the eastly path to bike to Brookfield Zoo near 31st Street and First Avenue in Brookfield, and back.
Very nice place, safe and lots of nature to enjoy. Great place for running, biking or just for a good walk.
Very beautiful park. Salt Creek is nice.
Very nice area. Some of the trails need to be mowed as they were 1 person wide. With current conditions, not able to pass others going opposite way, had to wait and give way.
