Evan has been tuning my Young Chang baby grand for three years. It’s easy to schedule an appointment with him on his website, which has his email address and phone number. He’s friendly, and has always been punctual. A tuning usually takes about an hour and half. I’ve had pianos tuned for almost 50 years, and Evan is one of the best who’s tuned my pianos. I highly recommend him.

I inherited a 30 year old Young Chang piano that had been poorly maintained, Evan correctly diagnosed that this particular vintage of piano had a material flaw that caused its action brackets to expand over time. He contacted the manufacturer and, at the time, they covered the parts under warranty. Evan only charged me for the labor hours to do the repair, and got the piano back into perfect working condition. I've since hired him to tune the piano for the last couple of years and he not only keeps the piano sounding great, he also meticulously checks and maintains the mechanical functions as well. He hunts down squeaks and creaks and makes careful adjustments so everything runs perfectly. I've been continuously impressed with his technical abilities and attention to detail. I would recommend him to anyone I know with a piano.
