This dog park is awesome, plenty of room and everyone we've met there has been super friendly. The regular dogs are great and they all have so much fun!

Well maintained dog park. Need an annual pass, to make sure dog's have the correct shots. Always a fun time

I have never let my dog run free on this park yet but I see there always is someone's dog inside the fence while the owner chitchatting on the waiting area. There are two separate parks one for small dogs and the other one for bigger dogs. The fence has a close gate and the waiting are has a roof. Water and litter bags are provided. Please clean after your dog.

Went to the dog park today exspecting to let my small dog have some fun, only to learn that the large dogs were the only part of the park that was open. Small dogs area was locked up. Why is that? Very disappointed!!

Hines Park is a decently large park with many open spaces to put a dog park yet the Wayne County dog park is absolutely tiny. Not only is it small, but it's placed directly next to the river so that every time a decent rain comes, it is completely under water. After a few days and the flood goes down, the dog park is a mud pit. The city seems to think that closing the dog park for 6 weeks in the spring for eseeding\ is actually going to make the grass grow back. It doesn't. When large dogs are in such a confined space, grass gets torn up. It's always muddy here. The county does not take care of the dog park like they should. Patrons of the park do more for the dog park than the county does. The only great thing about this park is that there is a never ending supply of water for the dogs. Also, there are no bathrooms for the owners. I would rather drive out to an Oakland County park because they are much larger with plenty of room for dogs to actually run.
