Low-ball offer on a expensive violin I was trying to sell
I had a fantastic experience with Eric at Mi Vida Strings. With me being a complete novice, Eric took the time to walk me through everything with the fiddle that I needed repaired, even going in the history of the fiddle and bow in detail. It is clear that Eric is truly passionate about his work and genuinely cares about the customers that come into his shop. There was also no sense of condescension or pretentiousness, which can be rare when interacting with professionals in the classical music realm. Throughout the entire repair process Eric was communicative and consistent with timelines/where we were in the process. Going so far as to send pictures of the inside of my violin while he was working through the repair. Out of the four repair shops I visited in the Denver metro area Mi Vida was by far the most welcoming and trust-worthy. If you are looking for a luthier that is honest, straightforward, and communicative, Eric is your guy. I wouldn't go to anybody else in Denver for repairs. Also as a bonus the shop itself is beautiful and generally has a warm atmosphere. Thanks Eric!

In the past 6 weeks I have called and left a msg twice with no return call. Says open till 2 on Sat so we made the drive, here at 1:30 and not open. I'm sure it's a great place to get this donated violin fixed but well never know.
I had the best experience here! Took my violin in to get repaired and Eric went above and beyond to make my violin look and sound beautiful! His rates are honest, reasonable and he will answer any question you throw at him with a smile. He loves what he dose and it shows. A little advice i would call before you go in. Will be going to Mi Vida Strings LLC again!
Took my daughter's cello in for a repair. Was very fast and friendly. I will be going here for all my cello needs
