I am a marathoner and aspiring ultra-marathoner. I have had such poor experiences finding the right shoes that, rather than buying new shoes, I spent the last three months running barefoot!! Now, after working with Dave at Fleet Foot, I cannot wait till I get to go back in and buy a new pair! In my opinion, here is what puts Fleet Foot one step ahead of the competition: 1)They use infra-red tech to generate a 3-d scan of your foot, which is just plain cool. Not to mention the scan gives you in-depth data on your foot's arch, wideness, and foots pressure points. 2) Dave knows his stuff, not just theory but application. He told me that he has personally tried every single shoe in the shop and requires all his employees to do the same. Further, Dave takes the time to explain to you the differences between each shoe, and he even watches you run in every shoe you try on to see how they fit. 3) Fleet Foot cares about its community. With their charitable partners, they will take all your old running shoes and recycle them into new shoes for lower-income individuals. I always find it hard to throw out my old running shoes, and this is a great way to feel good about getting rid of them. Overall, Fleet Foot is the best place to get your running shoes because they truly go the extra mile.

Had an amazing experience Fleet Feet Westport today. Made an appointment to shop for running shoes for my daughter. Tony spent almost an hour with us - analysis of her foot shape, size, etc. - in order to find the best fit. Found the perfect pair! The team in the store was so welcoming, friendly, patient and helpful. Highly recommend supporting this local business that's all about the customer experience.

I just did a curbside pickup, my shoes were ready in like 10min & I was sent off with a few goodies... I haven’t shopped here before, but will definitely be back. The On sneakers I got fit great (true to size) and I’m looking forward to running in them. Thanks again!
