I went to lux in westport to get a set of acrylics, payed 75 and they looked mediocre and I decided I wouldn’t go back there... I went to posh 2 weeks later to get a fill because my mom goes there all the time and her manicures look amazing. they are extremely pleasant there and I was happy. I was told my acrylics were not savable for a fill and I needed to get a full new set. I was on edge about it but decided to trust them. They looked amazing and the young woman who did them was super nice. BUT not even 5 days later a full nail popped off randomly, without putting any force on it. another nail chipped one day later. I love posh but i don’t recommend getting acrylics there... they are 85 plus tip and last 5 days. better off with just regular polish or gel.

I’ve been going to this place for the last two years. Never disappointed. One of the better places in the area. Very clean and friendly staff.
Great nail salon in Westport. My wife has been going for over 10 years Lisa is the best! They have really taken great precautions to make sure everything is clean and everyone is safe. Thanks!
I can honestly say this was one of my worst experiences at a salon! First,I was charged 120 for a full set! I understand some places are more expensive than others but that is absurd! I obviously should have checked but I usually focus more on the experience than the price. With that being said, that was also lacking! It felt rushed and I was not satisfied with how they looked. After I left, I noticed they started bubbling and 3 nails completely broke within 24 hours! When I went out of my way to go back to have them fixed, they were rude and condescending and seemed quite annoyed that they had to fix them. What?! I spent 120, 3 broke within 24 hours and you're the ones annoyed?? (Clinician and owner). Stay far far away from this place! Complete ripoff!
Tried this place a couple of times but haven’t had a good experience. They sold us gift certificates and when we came back to use them, there suddenly was a time frame they could be used (we were not told this when purchased nor was this info on the promotional poster). Both times I got my nails done here it was rushed and poorly done. The second time I asked them to completely redo it because my cuticles were so badly done (aka not done at all). Plus they don’t have drying stations so your nails never really dry properly. Won’t be coming back. Edit (updated from owners response): yes this was at the Westport location next to Whole Foods. And yes they specifically sold gift cards to us in early December and when we came in to use them a couple of weeks later they said they weren’t valid until January 1. And yes most other nail salons still use drying stations during Covid. I came in this morning (Sunday Jan 3) and had someone completely redo my nails because the first guy just didn’t cut my cuticles at all.
