Our stay here was fantastic. Relaxed vibe in common spaces, adorable private room, basic toiletries provided, and kitchen access. We had a wonderful weekend snowboarding at Gore Mountain and taking walks in the nearby woods. The owner Dave and his lovely pup Wilson were great company!

As a solo traveler looking to explore the area, there is no better choice I could have done. As place to stay, this has it all: the beds are convenient, it is right close to many hikes, a bit isolated but still 10 min away from town. The kitchen is well equipped, the public area is clean and comfortable. Surrounded by trees and a creek, makes it a peaceful place to relax. As it comes to exploring the outdoors: Dave the host, knows his way and is keen to help. Hi is a white water rafting instructor and hikes for pleasure. The second I've arrived, he gave me brief of the place and things to do. I was looking to go rafting for a long time so this was the perfect timing. If you come here on your own or with a group of friends and you want an easy and local experience, this is definitely the place to go. So happy I chose it over other motels.
We had a great ski weekend stay at the Llama House in February 2020! Despite some power outages across the region, we stayed warm with the wood stove that kept the house cozy and had a great time getting to know other guests in the shared common space. It's close proximity to Gore was perfect to be able to kick back and relax after a full day of skiing & riding for our group of friends. Dave was also a gracious host and made sure that everyone was comfortable during our stay. We'll definitely be back for more adventures in the area!
Llama House was the best Airbnb experience I have ever had. Dave gave us a full itinerary of activities including tubing and hiking (easy and strenuous). He has great dogs and a heart of gold. A perfect place to get away during Covid.
Place is great, David is a great host. To be clear this is a sort of community house which David lives in. We were 2 of 10 people staying there and 2 of our friends were there also. The vibe was excellent, very comfortable place to hang out in between ski days. On top of that David hooked us up with breakfast which was awesome. Will definitely see if it's available next time we are in the area.
