So pleasantly surprised to find this place! I moved to Wheaton a little bit ago and have been trying to find a good Thai place in/near downtown and was about to lose hope until I found Mai Thai Cafe! I ordered the pad thai with chicken and mild spice level. The amount of food was great for the price and everything tasted fresh. The mild spice level was perfect for me as someone who is pretty sensitive to spice;- it provided flavor without having an aggressive kick to it. I am looking forward to having the leftovers for lunch tomorrow!

thai food and the feeling here is better than most. one of the best spots in the area. the staff was very friendly and attentive. prices that won't shock you. this place has many good reviews for a reason.
Great tasting pad thai and easy order and pickup process
two days ago was the first time we visited this place. But It is obviously not the last time. We enjoyed the evening very much with the generous service, with the superb dishes and fine drinks and with the honest cost. We will definitely go back there soon.
Hidden around the corner on Main street Wheaton, Mai Thai Cafe serves up great food in a simple atmosphere. We ordered Pad Kee Mao and curry fried rice per Ben's ( Mastro of this restaurant) suggestion. The spice level was on point since we enjoy spicy food. There are few Thai restaurants in Wheaton but the simplicity and the customer service from Ben along with delicious food makes this place unique. At the time of arrival, this tiny self-serve restaurant was packed with regulars. This is definitely a culinary gem that I will return to.
