Kind but can be frustrating. It is a little bit overwhelming because ex military is used to being ahead of time or excaly on scedual. But they are loving.

Being a former homeless Veteran this place helps greatly. They have most of the basics to get back on track. Toiletries lamps endtables small appliances chairs etc. And John is a SAINT.

I had a referral to visit and received some needed clothing. The only things that I was able to get were so and about 5 shirts. The shirts are new and I'm very thankful but I couldn't find anything else in size. I've received feedback from other Vets that had much better luck so it must be hit or miss.

I'm in disabled veteran from Chicago who has been evicted. I tried to get into this place. Initially they said I needed a referral from Kristi at Hines VA. Now they're saying there is no way I can get in. I was told, even if I'm homeless outside this place, they wouldn't take me cuz I don't have a driver's license for Dupage county. They would ship me back to Chicago that's where my driver's license is from. Ship me back? Sounds like the Holocaust, man. I don't know if it's the color of my skin or what, but so strange, one minute they said all I need is a referral and now I'm being told, they won't even put me and my poor service dog on the list.

Nicely put together, like a dorm everyone has their own room. Nice common are. Special forces mostly. My brother, was a Green Beret. I am happy he is there.
