I had to pick up my brother's ashes today, which was a difficult task. There was a very compassionate postal worker at the counter at the Wheaton Avenue Post Office who realized what I was picking up and offered her condolences and empathy. It meant a lot to me. This is a service that only the Post Office offers, so that's more proof about how much we need this valued service and it's dedicated employees!

Quick, polite, and customer service was wonderful.
The mail carrier on our route has been dropping our mail on the stoop rather than putting it in the mailbox. Last Saturday the wind had blown pieces into the yard, and some of it was very important. We have not had a regular carrier on this Wheaton northside route for several years and still do not know why. On some days we receive mail that belongs to someone else, occasionally on a street we don't even recognize.
The people who work here are fantastic, but there are never enough of them up front. 2 people working for 10 people in line.
