We had bagels and mushroom barley soup. It was delicious. We ordered ahead and got curbside delivery. Which was great since there was a line outside when we arrived. Always delicious food.

Speaking as a native New Yorker, this is the best bagelry west of Ann Arbor. The bagels are good, as is the lox spread and the chive cream cheese. The bialys are dry and oversize; might as well just get an onion bagel. They get their authentic Black&Whites from the same New Jersey bakery that supplies most of NYC.
From the simplest bagel to an elaborate party tray of meats and cheese, this place can do it all. Our favorite is a western omelet with cheese, hash browns and an everything bagel. The ingredients are fresh and the taste is comforting. Any variety of bagel offers a tender crisp and chewy inside making it everything you want in the perfect bagel. The party tray meats and cheeses are fresh and delicious. The staff is friendly and professional. They are happy to help make your experience a good one! Covid protocol is in place so you feel safe.

Every time I spent the night at my Dzia Dzia's house in Prospect Heights I would wake up to Bagels from Chicago Bagel and Bialy. Simply put, the Garlic or Onion Bagels are the best Bagels in the world. I drive all the way from Wisconsin to get my hands on the best Bagels in the world. I wish there was a Chicago Bagel & Bialy closer, but it's well worth the drive.
