Interesting collection of rail equipment. Neat little museum that's usually open weekends though best to call first and check. Train trips several times a year. Not just for the kids!

Great piece of history. Lots of wagons and locomotives. Museum is full of historical equipment, tools, posters and magazines from different periods of US Railway industry. Also on exposition huge model of trains track and towns. During holidays you can board the historic train for one hour trip. Great experience for kids.

Nice place to unwind from quarantine. Would be nice if they had 2 or 3 persons dressed up in conductor uniforms to offer detailed historical info. I for instance found the non-self powered Boiler engine quite impressive. I had never seen one before. The large Baldwin engine was also interesting. For my wife it was the old milk machine that stole the show. She was absolutely thrilled when she spotted it. She recalled being sent out with 75c in hand to one located on a small grassy lot five blocks from her home. She told me that milk machines were a prized commodity back in the 60's and 70's because most grocery stores used to close down early. Some as early as 6pm. So the milk machines were it. I'm glad to say that our weekend search for adventure turned out to be a truly enjoyable one for both of us. It certainly was nice to find such lovely historical treasures and \Free of Charge\ at that. Parking is also free. PS It would be nice if the concession stand, restrooms and gift shop opened up.

This is closed for the season but I liked coming here with family for a quick train ride for the Christmas season. We were able to take photos with Santa as well.
