We really enjoyed this place. It was a little tricky getting into but once they reopened the Hardy dam road, easy getting out. Poor kept beach, vault toliet was a bit stinky but, sites were good sized and well kept. I would reccomend training young staff members to know more about trails and rental places in area. We stayed 6 nights and enjoyed every bit of our stay.

Great camp site. Would definitely do it again next summer. Friendly clientele and fun for the kids.

Spent the last days here and it was very quiet! To quiet to be honest. But nonetheless, it was much enjoyable!

I want to start by saying that this campground is very nice and we stayed by so many nice and welcoming people. Now for the rest of my review. We have a fifth wheel with one slide out and we’re told no problem. There was a large tree in front and behind but we were able to get in. The tree behind had such low branches we couldn’t back up all the way so our truck wouldn’t fit in front. We asked a younger guy where we could park because he also mentioned they needed to trim the tree. He told us to park on the other side of our camper up towards the drive to be sure the handicap spots at the restroom were clear. Later in the evening the night security guard started yelling at us for parking there, then the manager came and was yelling in our face and making a huge scene. She said it didn’t matter if we didn’t come back someone else would. We had multiple sites come over and say how ridiculous and unprofessional they were being and even offered for us to park on their sites. Unless there is a change in management we will never stay here again. She was rude the last time we camped and over the top this time.

I bought a parking pass and stuck it in my front window. Came off the water and found my car gone. Was told that there was no sticker for parking in my window so therefore the car was towed. I understand the rule about towing the car if there is no sticker visible however the way that I was treated by the manager who said his name was Nick Smith, was totally disrespectful and uncalled for. Perhaps he thought I had been drinking all day like the rest of the people that were attending the event but I was not. I had had absolutely no alcohol that day.He showed no empathy whatsoever nor did he care about my dilemma. He called the sheriff over and told me he was done talking to me. And in case you’re reading this Nick, the sticker was laying on the floor of my car. The sticky on the back somehow let go I’m sure, but I was telling the truth.
