My dad has lived at The Bristal for the past 4 years. The staff has been wonderful and caring... the dining staff, wellness staff, aides, front desk and all the way up to the CEO! Whenever there was an issue with my dad they were ready and willing to help resolve it, with great care and compassion. These past few months during the pandemic, they put their own lives on the line to show up to work and care for the residents. And they did an outstanding job keeping them safe and healthy. They are truly the heroes!! My dad not only made friends with the residents, but he has grown quite fond of the members of the staff as well. Their kindness and compassion provide him with a safe place to call home When you walk into the Bristal it looks like you have entered a hotel. Beautifully decorated and kept immaculate , it provides a cheery atmosphere for all who live there . I thank all of you at The Bristal, from the bottom of my heart, for taking such wonderful care of my dad. It takes a village.... and my dad is lucky to live in your village!!

Words cannot express how wonderful our experience has been at The Bristal in White Plains. My brother and I searched for an Assisted Living in Westchester for our mother. By the end of our extensive and informative tour, we knew The Bristal WP was perfect. Our mother moved into the Bristal in February and she had a beautiful 1 bedroom apartment which we decorated with her own furniture and special possessions. The entire facility was spotless and we were greeted by every staff and other residents we came across. Due to circumstances out of anyone’s control, our mother’s health took a turn for the worse in April She needed increased care and was moved to the Reflections neighborhood. Due to the pandemic, we could not visit or help my mom with the move. Her move was coordinated by the Bristal and her new residence was decorated as close to her previous apartment as possible and all her belongings put away. My mom is cared for by compassionate, kind, caring people at The Bristal in WP. It has been a difficult journey for my mom and for our family as my mom’s health declines, but we are comforted by the people in all departments that touch her life everyday. We are grateful that my mom moved to the Bristal when she did. We commend all involved in her care during this unprecedented time. Laureen Kelly, The Executive Director, as well as Wynter and Jordan who have coordinated my mom’s care have done a wonderful job communicating to us and have been instrumental in meeting the needs of our mom!

We convinced my parents (Mom and Step Dad) to try the Bristal., My primary goal, even as they have aged and their conditions deteriorated has been to keep them together. The Bristal team has been invaluable in this pursuit. They combine attentive care with compassion and I greatly appreciate it.

As I live at a distance from New York, it is really important for my peace of mind to know that my elderly parents are well cared for, especially in these uncertain times. Still holding his own at age 97, my dad has enjoyed independent living at Bristal White Plains for nearly five years, and my mother was well looked after in the Reflections memory care unit during her final days. The team at WP are caring, responsive and supportive, and do everything they can to respect and cater for residents' individual needs.

If you are looking for an unprofessional setting to house your loved ones –then look no further. Bristal is equipped with no management of any value and no hierarchy that articulates roles and responsibilities; no one that communicates – well none that can communicate between shifts, management to the residents family; resident to the medical staff; medical staff to the employees – wait – did I say they don’t communicate….not only that but for your money they do it in a fashion that is dangerous to the health of those in their charge… Want to watch the staff complain all day and sit tight in a corner while those in need go unattended; want to watch people with no energy; want promises that go unfulfilled; wait – better yet, want an environment that is dangerous… You have found a home for your loved one…. The pricing aside – these folks are all incompetent; promises yes, fulfillment NO; Stay away – stay far away
