Jan. 20, 2021 We recently needed to have a major foundation issue looked at and evaluated prior to purchasing a house in Stephens City. Tony, from Lux, showed up before the appointed time, was very professional, was thorough in evaluating the foundation issue, took pics of the area in question, was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to about the issue, and he provided a very detailed report with photos. We had a terrific experience with Lux! Matt Fink, the Foundation Specialist, was very professional before, during, and after our appointment. He phoned 1 hour ahead of our 10am appointment to confirm, he arrived timely, and was very polite. He wore a mask and properly practiced social distance which we appreciated. He performed a thorough examination of our exterior foundation taking particular note to the areas the real estate home inspector had noted. He offered sound advice and clearly answered all our questions. We highly recommend Lux Foundation Solutions, and Matt in particular, should you have any issues with your home's foundation or are in need of a structural engineer.

From the first initial call for an estimate to the completion of the job, everyone I spoke with and met from this company was amazing. I hired them to come in and dig and install drains in my crawlspace along with a sump pump and dehumidifier. They had the job done in two days. I work from home and they were digging right under my office. I had no disruptions during my work day while they were here. And best of all, when it rained, I was able to see all of the water that was once pooling under my house, drain out. I would highly recommend them!!!

We had a decent sized crack in our basement and were prepared to have it filled before selling the house -- Lux sent out a representative (Tony) to inspect the crack, look for others, etc. In addition to giving us a quote for the repairs, he also wrote up a report on the crack and advised to only get the crack filled if a home inspector had a problem with it, since it did not appear to be structural or leaking water. Always happy when a business is straight forward and doesn't try to take as much of your money as they can!
