The place is clean and safe and modest....its not the Hyatt hotel and doesnt claim to be...the head guy Chris is a no nonsense business man...hes hard but fair. .he doesnt allow public drinking, fighting, loud noise or disturbances...if you do he'll punch your ticket outta there...he demands timely rent payments...his clerical, on site guy is Will who is dependable and answers all your concerns/ questions...abide by the rules and dont cause problems and you can live comfortably and cheaply and in a clean/safe enviornment... Very clean and good people
I'm writing this review because I went looking for boarding houses and could find little information on some places. Like this one. The place is clean, quiet, and full of friendly people of all ages (early 20s and up). The landlord is also friendly and helpful. Some of the tenants are a little low on the hygiene side where the bathroom is concerned (make sure you have lysol wipes and flip-flops) but the place is cleaned daily by a professional service. No air conditioning in the hot and humid months and constant opening of the front door allows in mosquitoes and moths which is not fun. The place smells of cigarette smoke because residents smoke near the door and near open windows, but overall? If you need a room for awhile, this place is a good one. Cable TV with lots of channels, free Wifi, plenty of room for parking, easy access to large kitchen, large showers in private lockable bathrooms, really close to plenty of stores and restaurants, and the setting is as charming as it gets. A quaint old renovated barn nestled into the wooded area far back from busy Rt. 22. (Resident for a few months)
