A place to find peace and beauty via the natural setting of monumental redwoods, a river, the deer and other wildlife. The Cistercian monks will open their doors to join them in prayer and angelic song. Perfect for quieting the noise that usually surrounds all...a place introspection through prayer and meditation. I feel blessed that I found this place.

My numerous retreat visits over 30 years have each been a superb spiritual and natural experience. The setting on secluded huge acreage of meadows, forests, creeks, hills, valleys . . . is one of the most stunning places I have experienced in my life! The quiet is almost unknown in the current world. The community is inspiring regardless of religious / political ideas and beliefs, a loving inclusive environment. AND, the food, though simple, is fresh-from-the-garden organic, all homemade including superb breads, nutritious and beautifully presented. I could go on & on. Hope to see some you there next time I have the JOY of being there.
