I was in the L.A. area for a month vacationing and wanted to try Tai Chi. I gave Sensei Mc Gouirk a call, and the next day he responded with class times and instructor's name. Ms. Suzette teaches Tai Chi. As with any martial art, it looks easier than it is. Ms. Suzette is patient with her students, breaking down the moves so you can understand how they go. She gently corrects any mistakes. You can instantly tell from your first class that she loves the art, as well as her students. Everyone was also very friendly and welcoming. Although I was not taking Akiedo, Sensei made a point to meet and welcome me himself. I plan on returning this fall while out in L.A. area again.
