Certainly, PIH is not even close to what is was before. This hospital and urgent care centers used to be the best; not anymore. The urgent care centers, though they are extremely clean, DO NOT HAVE A MEDICAL DOCTOR, patients are seen by either nurse practitioners or physician assistants; though I respect their knowledge, they are NOT doctors; hence, they DO NOT have the same knowledge. About two years ago, a physician assistant prescribed my daughter morphine for vomit! She was overdose and not doing well. I asked for a real doctor and never get a response. I wonder if when they charge the insurance company they charge the fees pertaining to a real doctor or if they charge according to the low quality service that now provide

This hospital is the worse place you can have a fam member, the nurses are unprofessional and to be honest if anyone is reading this, I hope you dnt even feel forced to bring in a loved one. The directors don’t hear you out but will not do a damn thing about the issues. A patient w cancer and w a weak immune system should not have to sit in a dirty room
My mother was there for 25 days, in 3rd Tower. The nurses in that tower are the worse! They are rude, they leave you on hold til you hang up. They never call you back! We were told that my mother was being turned over every two hours! This is a lie because she had 4 bed sores! The feeding tube that was inserted in her, we were told that this was so Old School! The new facility was shocked that a Hospital like PIH would use such an old one!!!! Please do not end up in PIH Whittier if you can avoid it. They are the utterly worse hospital in Whittier!!!
Amazing hospital! I had a wonderful experience from the check in process, nursing staff, ultrasound tech and MD were all very caring and attentive to my needs. They seem to be well organized and very efficient. Would highly recommend this ER!
Just posting the new parking guide starting June 1, 2020. I guess you have to pay 3 for every time you park within a 24 hour limit, NO in and out is allowed. You have to pay another 3, if you drive out for lunch and another 3 if you decide to go out for dinner. WOW! I guess they should just charge 9 for all day parking and allow in and out. Just saying. I feel bad for the people that have to have dialysis and now pay 3 for every visit. Update June 23, 2020 For some reason the pictures were deleted, I just added them again. I wonder if the PIH deleted them??
