Worst car rental experience in my life. I reserved a Ford Escape a month in advance. When I got there they tried to put me in a Jeep Gladiator truck. I was going to Houston in the rain with a lot of cargo that would have to go in the open back end. The only other vehicle available was a minivan. They said I could have it for an extra 20 per day. I said BS. After a heated argument the phone rang and the agent was told to give it to me. The rude agent began to ring it up when I made a few more comments about having no vehicles and why do we make reservations when they are useless. The phone rings again and I'm put on the line with a supervisor who tells me to calm down because I got what I want. When she refused to come around the corner and talk to me personally I put the phone on the counter mid sentence. The agent then picked up the phone and told me to get out and they refused to let me rent anything. I will stick with my tried and true Enterprise from here on.

Budget Wichita has really nice cars for what you pay. Only issue is sometimes they do not have what you reserve.
If I could give zero stars I would. After calling three offices and going through their national phone that puts you in touch with someone who you can understand I was able to locate a car. They said they would rent on a debit card. Took in a copy of utility bill as required and proof of full coverage insurance I was told I had to pick from a big pickup truck or a delivery van... NOT the car I was told I would get. Then because I they couldn't talk to my insurance agent and confirm (on a Saturday) I would need to take out another 280.00 of their insurance plus a security deposit that they couldn't tell me yet the amount since they couldn't confirm my insurance. Now my bill is going to be over 600.00 . When asked if there was a supervisor, the little hitler behind the counter said she will tell you the same thing there is no point. STAY AWAY from Budget especially in Wichita KS.
I will never rent from them. I felt uneasy from the start and should’ve walked out. The whole process has gone on over a month now and there’s no reason for that. The store doesn’t answer the phone or emails and refuses to help me. Over charging me a month later for a rental I was already refunded for. NEVER AGAIN.
Chuck was super helpful at pickup making sure we had enough room for our holiday trip. At return Casey was above and beyond helpful. He even took the time to show us other vehicles on the lot so we could compare interior sizes for our next trip.
