My wife and my daughter went up there today to buy a hamster, there was one family in front of them when they arrived. while they were waiting to be taken care of two more groups of families came in and the lady helping the first family ignored them repeatedly and helped out one of the families that came in after my family arrived. then disappeared for some time. when she came back she helped out the other family that came in after my wife and daughter did. then she disappeared again. after repeated attempts for my wife to get ahold of anybody it was almost better part of an hour before someone showed to help them out we finally got a hamster and all the stuff that was needed but to top it off the hamster that my daughter fell in love with the moment she arrived and that she wanted more than anything was given to the family that arrived 30 minutes after they did because nobody would help them either after being asked for help multiple times. they have lost our business for good and any of my friends will never go back to that store ever again

I purchased a cable tie-out rated for up to 90 lb dog. I put my 20 lb Scottie on it and the swivel snap came apart immediately. I took it back to store yesterday to exchange since it was obliviously a faulty attachment. I was informed that they stopped taking back returns as of Jan 1, 2021 because of covid. The clerk removed the cable from the bag. She took a pair of pliers to the snap and tried to clamp the end. Then she asked another clerk to fix it for her. She said that she had \fixed\ it. I took it home and my Scottie broke the snap free in the first second she was on the cable. I spent the next 3 hours trying to catch my scottie. I live 100 miles from the store so this was after driving 200 miles to get a replacement. If the clerk was so scared of covid why did she take the cable out of the bag. She could have left the cable in the bag and given me a cable that was not faulty. Petco just lost my business.
To take his turn they sell a brand of litter that clumps really good you buy the bucket initially for 11 but then you take it back in and refill it for 9. Excellent prices
The staff was very helpful with our problem . our husky has ate 3 collars in a week. She pointed out Myah is lacking any toy that keep her busy. And to use bitter apple spray on her collar. So we walked out with the hope that this new collar will last .
They always have what I need for my critters. A great selection of dog and cat food and always stocked with things for my reptiles.
