Most frustrating buying experience ever. Sent a cash ACH payment for a Bobcat to the instructions they gave me. It got lost for 3 days and I had to make a second emergency wire and still wasn’t sure it would get there as the address was still different than what was sent to me. For 2 days 43,000 was lost and communication was nonexistent from them knowing I needed my machine and my wire was missing. We finally got it worked out miraculously on a Friday and their driver picked it up Friday afternoon. Since I knew they weren’t a thorough dealer, I tried to call Friday afternoon to make sure they gave the pass code to the driver and they were closed, no emergency after hours and nobody checks messages to see if an emergency may come in after hours, nada…. Fast forward to Saturday night and my machine finally gets here. I’m so excited after the wait and double payment for the machine (still awaiting the return of the first 43,000), but that was very short lived. This dealer sent my Bobcat with no bucket even though the sales agreement CLEARLY says 80” straight edge bucket included. Great right? Well it gets even better. As it turns out, they did NOT give the driver the code or think to send it to me. Now its Saturday night and the driver has to stay here an extra 2 nights and I stayed an extra night. All of this was unnecessary but due to White Star’s incompetence it has cost 2 other businesses over 400 in room fees. I’m so frustrated I will probably ask them to pay for the room and will undoubtably have them pay a hot shot to get the bucket here. As it stands now, I need the machine immediately and its immobile and also is bucketless. What a completely unnecessary experience all because a dealer has no attention to detail or processes in place to prevent this. How can you be in business this long and not have processes? Unbelievable.
