We have been going to this amazing Guest Ranch for many years. The accommodations were amazing, riding is absolutely beautiful, food is delicious. Connie and Ken were our point of contact and they did such a wonderful job of communicating with us. They wanted to make sure that our stay was everything we were hoping it would be. Thank you so much Kay El Bar for doing things the right way. PS - Walter was a fan favorite of ours. Make sure to give Walter a hug and some treats when you are there.

Peaceful, comfortable atmosphere with a dash of the authentic old western ranch. Not pretentious. Wonderful meals. Helpful and happy staff. Great stock and amazing rides through prestine desert flora and fauna, which staff could identify and knew well. I loved it all.
Kay El Bar guest ranch was a great getaway from the busy city. My husband and I were looking for a quiet place to spend my birthday. We chose Kay El Bar because the getaway package we got included one trail ride a day. There were tons of wildlife around the property. The lawn and landscaping around the buildings have a peaceful, western ambience. There are two friendly ranch cats that let you pet them and carry them around. Our bedroom was comfortable with it’s own bathroom and independently controlled heat/ac. We stayed in the lodge where there are other rooms nearby and a big living room area to gather. It has games, books, comfortable seating, treats and drinks. There are huge barbecues on the property and the cooks make excellent food. We WILL be returning!
Outstanding. Knowledgeable handlers, easy going horses for a beginner rider such as myself. The provided meals were fantastic and accommodations comfortable. More importantly, no television to distract you from the majesty of the outdoors.

Our guide was extremely informative and kind, the horses were so friendly and well trained. The scene is breath taking, you feel so alive.... We are from WI I love to ride and have had experience this is the place to come for a good time
This is a hidden gem! Love the natural beauty, serenity and low key atmosphere. Ken the manager, Dee the wrangler, James and Chef Keith in the dining room, and Carmen in housekeeping were more than accommodating! You don’t even have to ask and they are providing services. This has been the most off-grid, relaxing vacation my family has had. Our 12 yo daughter wants to come back each year! We will definitely return and tell everyone we meet to come and experience the Kay El Bar Guest Ranch first hand!!!
Holy cow! This ranch was a truly amazing experience. The office staff (Connie and Ken) were very friendly and made us feel right at home, and the wranglers (Emily and Brandon) tailored our ride to our group perfectly. They went out of their way to make sure we had a good experience and, because we were slightly more experienced riders, we were able to ride at a faster pace. It made for a much better time than the dude ranches where you have to walk in a line with 30 other riders! I was even able to try my hand at team penning, which made it a very memorable trip. Because it is a relatively small guest ranch, we got to know all the staff and other guests. The room that we stayed in (Casa Grande) was cozy, and the property was very well maintained. There's no TV or cell service here (which we thought was amazing!) but they do have wifi in case you need to connect to those at home. We will definitely be back!
