Renting clear kayaks was the most memorable thing I did in Lake Tahoe! I had been wanting to do this for so long and I’m glad I went with Wild Society. They had the best prices for clear kayaks and North Lake Tahoe is so beautiful. I was lucky to get a Saturday reservation at 8am kinda last minute, and they only had the 1 hour time slot left. (2 hours minimum is 100% the best option for kayaking to a pretty boulder area). When I checked in I asked if I could extend my reservation but they were fully booked. No worries! After starting to kayak, my Apple Watch rang and it was Wild Society letting me know that they had a cancellation and I was able to stay out for 2 hours now! 1. That’s nice they even remembered, since it was a fully booked morning with many people and 2. I’m so happy they gave me a call even after I had left. It took about 40 minutes to kayak to the area I had seen in photos - my friend and I were able to get out and swim a little too, then we headed back. Don’t underestimate the effort it takes to kayak! It was definitely a workout (but totally worth it). We even got back 10 minutes late but the ladies at Wild Society were all smiles and just asked if we had a great time. We sure did! This was such a fun experience and I loved being able to see through the bottom of the kayaks. I will be back!

We had a blast with Wild Society! Booking was easy, and the staff were so kind and helpful. The kayaks were stunning and a perfect way to explore Lake Tahoe. I definitely recommend doing the longer sessions, i.e. 3 hours. We did 1 hour and it was not nearly enough time to explore! Definitely will be visiting them again next time we're in Tahoe.

Great experience. Beautiful part of the lake but you do have to paddle about 30 minutes out to see that clear water/big rock landscape. This is a moderate physical activity Nd would not recommend if out of shape. The people were very informative and let you do your own thing on the lake as long S you stay within your time frame.

We got rescheduled due to high wind in the afternoon that raised the concern for the company. The only option was 7:45am next day and it was so cloudy. The location wasn’t too bad, I just wish I didn’t have to carry and put together/take off the kayak myself especially for the price we paid for an hour. We didn’t get to see anything under the clear kayak since it was so cloudy. So my advice to those that watches the weather, if you get rescheduled and it says cloudy. Just ask for your money back.

We absolutely love the Crystal Kayaks! The adventure was self-guided which worked out perfectly because we were able to spend as much time as we wanted in various spots taking as many pictures as possible! Lake Tahoe is amazing and the Crystal kayaks are a must do while you are there!
