Very good a month ago. Ate at bar. Ate outside tonight and service sucked! Waited forever for second drinks, less food for more money. Guy was quick when it came time to pay. Won't eat there again. If so, at the bar!

We went to De Ninos the other night and we wanted to sit down to have a nice italian dinner. We liked this place when it was Marie Nicholes. However the waitress told us that everything was booked for the night, but their were nine empty tables at quarter to 7pm at night. So we left we probably will go back to try the new food but they just lost great customers who been going their for years. Pays well to be a loyal customer.

My wife, daughter and I went to Marie Nicole's for dinner. We asked for the menus but the waitress looked at us like we couldn't afford it and asked us "are you sure you want to eat here". We said "yes" then the waitress says we can't serve your child, (for no good reason). The waitress was very rude and pretentious. I don't know if their food is any good because we never ate or went back there, after leaving.

This is the place to go for a quiet, refined dining experience. The dishes are imaginative and well-cooked, only slightly more expensive than Harbor View with its C-plus cuisine. My husband and I both had fried calamari to start (pouring sauce on it would have been a sacrilege); then apple salad (delicious); then seared salmon (wild caught). That rested on a double mound of a creamy lentil concoction and sautéed spinach (the orange salmon, warm brown lentils, and dark green spinach made a beautiful presentation), with a dollop of creamy white goat cheese. Tip to Head Chef, just so you’re aware: someone in the kitchen oversalted the spinach. The salmon was skillfully cooked, tender and moist. We ordered too much food but went home happy and didn’t have to eat again for 24 hrs. Some of the negative reviews on other websites are bewildering. If the bartender behaved as if he was doing you a favor by serving you, then perhaps he was. Our wait-person was pleasant and attentive, the service was prompt. It was early on a weeknight in May, and we had the place almost to ourselves. Kitchens do get behind sometimes, especially during peak dinner hours in high season in a tourist town, so if you expect fast food on Saturday night at 7:30 in July, don’t grouse when you don’t get it. Be reasonable and recognize that you’re part of the problem.
