Awesome trails but not for the faint of heart. Some of these trails are no joke. A man died on the trail we were on this weekend just before got there. Reports were he had no helmet or seat belt. There are different levels of difficulty assigned to the trails so be aware. That being said we will go back and it was awesome.

***ATTENTION ALL ATV UTV SXS OWNERS VISITING MERCER COUNTY YOUR ATVS AND SXS ARE NOT WELCOME IN PRINCETON WEST VIRGINIA*** West Virginia passed a law making Atvs and Utvs street legal (WV Senate Bill 690) and labeling them as SPVs or Special Purpose Vehicles given they meet all the safety requirements of the West Virginia State inspection, are registered with state DMV and Insured. Princeton Police Dept along with City Council is using a ordinance that was retrofitted in 2003 applying to atvs and using the same ban for Special Purpose Vehicles and banning them from the roadways within the city of Princeton! This message is to encourage visitors to not spend money in Princeton and inform Visitors that come to enjoy our Trial systems that the City Of Princeton West Virginia does not want you to enjoy your Side by Sides or atvs within the city even if they are street legal as you spend your money.

Ample parking and direct connect to the trails. Check out trail 140 for a fun rock climb and single track right out of the parking lot of you want.

Nice open parking area with an office and restrooms (unknown condition of restrooms because of the covids they were closed). Trailhead is located just off the parking lot with great trails.
